Takanini and Greenlane took part in hosting fantastic Pink Ribbon Fundraisers for the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Last week the Takanini team was proud to host a Pink Ribbon breakfast to support a cause the staff feel particularly connected to.
The team went to great effort to decorate the office and cook a delicious meal.
“It was a wonderful opportunity to come together to fundraise and share stories of mothers, daughters, sisters, survivors. We raised well over $400 and were humbled by the contribution of staff from all over the business; both of the money they donated and journeys they shared,” said Julia, Area Manager Takanini.
Organiser, Esther said it was a great chance to promote awareness.
“Breast cancer is the most common cancer among NZ women and many of us know someone who, in one way or another, has been affected by breast cancer. The Pink Ribbon Breakfast was our chance to bring awareness to this and raise some money for breast cancer research - and what better way than to gather your friends around the table for a kai,” she said.
The team from Greenlane also took part in a Pink Ribbon Fundraiser last week, raising over $350 with their morning tea, provided by the Auckland Communications, Stakeholder and Marketing group.
