The Government has announced a new appointment to the Housing New Zealand Board with Vui Mark Gosche joining as deputy chair.
Mr Gosche is a former Cabinet minister who also held the Housing portfolio in the early 2000s. Since retiring from politics in 2008 he’s served on numerous not for profit, community and trust boards and was recently confirmed as the new chair for the Counties Manukau District Health Board.
In announcing the new deputy chair, Housing and Urban Development Minister Phil Twyford also confirmed the current Board chair, Adrienne Young-Cooper, has been reappointed until 31 May 2019.
Other Board members to be reappointed include John Duncan until 30 June 2021 and Michael Schur until 30 June 2020.
