Congratulations to Shahnaz and Steve who are winners in the 2018 Contact Centre Institute of New Zealand Awards (CCINZ).
The awards dinner was held on the weekend with Shahnaz coming out top in the National Contact Centre Trainer of the Year category and Steve winning the National Contact Centre WFM Professional of the Year award.
Shahnaz says that she has a lot of respect for the leaders at Housing New Zealand and is humbled that her managers put her forward for the award. Shahnaz believes that being brave, taking risks and being genuine are the keys to success.
"It was just amazing to get as far as being a finalist, the love and support I’ve got from the whole Customer Support Centre (CSC) team was overwhelming. Being a winner was a cherry on the cake. I’m grateful to get the opportunity to showcase all the work I did. Again a huge thank you to our Leadership team for encouraging me to apply for the awards," she said.
Steve says that he has been supported by his colleagues in the CSC and wants to acknowledge the achievements of the CSC as a whole.
"There are an amazing number of parts of the CSC that have needed to align to get to where we are now, and a number of people within Housing NZ that have supported me to get these results. This award, while personal, builds on the achievements the CSC already has received – namely the Australian and New Zealand Customer Experience award that we received in May 2018."
This is a fantastic achievement that is well worth celebrating. Well done Shahnaz and Steve!
