Maori Strategy

Housing New Zealand Corporation has launched a strategic plan to address the complex housing needs and aspirations experienced by Māori and iwi.

The Māori Strategic Plan, known as Te Au Roa - Into the Future - sets out a five-year plan of action to deliver suitable housing solutions for more.

A series of priorities and initiatives will help Housing New Zealand achieve the plan's three long term goals:

  • To build partnerships with Māori and iwi
  • To be effective for Māori
  • To be responsive for Māori
