Community Renewal project - August 2004

Community Renewal project evaluations synthesis and discussion of findings - August 2004

This report summarises the key findings of the evaluations of five Community Renewal projects, covering the period from the projects' inception in 2001 to June 2004.

The evaluation findings illustrate the breadth of Community Renewal project activities that have been undertaken aimed at facilitating complex social change in dynamic communities.

The findings confirm that progress is being made towards achieving the initiative's seven objectives, but indicate longer time frames are required to build skills, capacity and leadership in the project communities.
