Housing New Zealand provides good quality, affordable rental homes for people on low to moderate incomes. We own or manage more than 66,000 properties throughout the country, including about 1,500 homes used by community groups. Some of the homes we rent out are leased from private property owners.
We also help people make the move from renting to owning their own home, by providing a range of home loans and home ownership services.
In this section you will find information on how to rent a Housing New Zealand home and what you need to know once you are living in one.
There's also information on:
- home ownership services
- leasing a property to Housing New Zealand, for guaranteed year-round rent
