Developments - Overview
Properties are added to the state housing portfolio through Housing New Zealand's build, buy, development, redevelopment and lease programmes.
Some of these projects involve building on 'greenfield' sites - land that hasn't had any previous urban development - such as the Papakura project. Our development programme focuses on the construction of houses on these sites.
