Research and Policy - Overview

Our research group provides information on housing and housing services to the Minister of Housing, other government agencies and other Housing New Zealand business groups. Our research is also of interest to the wider housing sector.

We also have a wealth of archival information on ex-state houses that is of particular interest to local councils, home-owners, researchers and architects. The archives include architectural blueprints, drainage plans, floor plans and photos of houses that were once owned by the government.
