Registration of Interest - Contract for Supply of Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinetry

Housing New Zealand Corporation (HNZC) is a Crown Owned Entity which has a national property portfolio of approximately 69,000 residential units. HNZC is undertaking a business transformation that will provide improved outcomes for tenants, asset management and value for money.

HNZC operates building materials procurement agreements for the supply of items associated with the maintenance of its property portfolio. HNZC intends to create a new supply category of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry to be supplied to meet HNZC’s specifications. The new supply contract(s) will be for a term expiring on 30 June 2012, with HNZC having rights at its option to extend for 2 terms of 1 year.

HNZC now invites Registrations of Interest from suitable companies to supply either regionally or nationally kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. HNZC’s projected requirements for the 3 year period to 30 June 2014 are 2880 units.

Registrations should include a brief statement outlining your company, ability to supply either regionally or nationally, product range, and management capability of servicing HNZC’s requirements.

HNZC invites Registrations of Interest from suitably qualified persons or companies or organisations to undertake this significant supply contract.

This preliminary registration precedes the following anticipated process:

• evaluation and short listing of registrations of interest
  • mid June 2011
• invitations to tender
  • late June 2011
• tenders evaluated
  • late June / early July 2011
• appointment of successful supplier(s)
  • early July 2011

Interested parties are to complete the HNZC Registration of Interest Submission Form (Word  Document, 124kb) , available on both GETS (www.gets.govt.nz) and the HNZC web site (www.hnzc.co.nz). Submissions must be received by 3.00pm on Friday 17 June 2011.
