From 2 January Housing New Zealand will be inspecting its houses in the suburbs most affected by the 23 December earthquakes (South Shore, South New Brighton, New Brighton, North New Brighton and Parklands) to check whether any repairs are needed. Tenants will be contacted directly to arrange a time to inspectors to visit.
