Housing New Zealand starts Christchurch redevelopment project

Removed Glen Innes state houses being recycled

All of the first 24 houses being removed from Glen Innes will be refurbished and re-used, says Graham Bodman, Housing New Zealand programme manager. Preferred Development Partners Panel for the Minor Redevelopment Programme – Greater Auckland area


Request for Expressions of Interest

Housing New Zealand Corporation is a Crown owned entity. It invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified property development organisations for appointment to a Preferred Development Partners Panel. It is anticipated the Panel members could include private property development groups, third sector providers, Iwi or any combination of these entities. Once appointed, the Panel members will then be invited to submit proposals for development opportunities from the Minor Redevelopment Programme, through subsequent Request for Proposals processes.

The Minor Redevelopment Programme is likely to include the Preferred Development Partners providing proposals for the financing, designing, consenting, construction, titling and sale of social, affordable and private housing on selected sites in the Corporation’s Greater Auckland portfolio.

Interested parties must comply with the submission requirements contained in the Housing New Zealand Request for Expressions of Interest document. This document is available for download from https://www.tenderlink.com/hnzc/. For assistance please contact TENDERLINK on 0800 698 363.

Submissions must be received by 2.00pm on 11 May 2012.

  • Our offices are open only for scheduled appointments for needs assessments. You are not able to drop in the way you might have in the past.

  • Our tenancy managers are ‘going mobile’ so will be out and about in the community more.
